Care Friends was founded on a simple idea: families deserve a better way to find trustworthy, experienced caregivers — without the overhead and impersonal nature of traditional home care agencies.
Our Mission
Care Friends exists to bridge the gap between families who need in-home care and the dedicated caregivers who provide it. We are not a home care agency — we are a referral service built on trust, transparency, and personal connection. Our mission is to make private caregiving accessible, affordable, and reliable for every family we serve.
Why We Started Care Friends
Care Friends was started by a licensed CNA who spent years working for agencies and companies across Georgia — and saw firsthand what was wrong with the system.
After working for so many agencies, it became clear that CNAs are doing all of the work and being paid far less than they deserve. The people providing the most important care — the hands-on, daily, intimate work of helping someone live with dignity — were consistently undervalued, underpaid, and overlooked.
That experience sparked a simple but powerful idea: I want to change the way CNAs are valued. I want to simply care for each and every CNA who wants to be respected and paid fairly.
So Care Friends was built as exactly that — a network of CNAs and caregivers. Not an agency. Not a corporation. A community.
The idea comes from actually experiencing the unfairness of the system while also seeing the need on the other side: families who are paying high agency rates but still struggling to get consistent, quality care. Families who want great care but cannot afford the ongoing overhead of a traditional agency.
Care Friends bridges both of those realities. Caregivers get to be respected and paid what they are worth — directly by the families they serve. Families get to cut the cost and still receive great care by paying directly to the caregiver, without the agency markup in between.
This is not just a business. It is a movement built from lived experience — from the floor of a patient's room, from the exhaustion of a double shift, and from the belief that the people who show up every day to care for others deserve so much more.

Our Safety & Screening Process
We take the trust families place in us seriously. Every caregiver in our network goes through a thorough review before we make any referral.
Credential Verification
We verify active CNA licenses, CPR/First Aid certifications, and any other professional credentials before a caregiver joins our network.
Professional References
We require and review a minimum of two professional references from prior caregiving employers or supervisors.
Background Check Documentation
Caregivers must provide background check documentation. We review this as part of the application process.
Personal Interview
We speak with every caregiver personally to assess their experience, professionalism, and fit for the families we serve.
